Each trip to Door County is better than the last. It is one of my favorite places to serve my clients! There are so many great locations that I feel like a kid in a candy store. That is why I was beyond excited to serve the S. family during their vacation there! They are a very close family and I wanted to ensure that I captured that. As a full service photographer, I guided them throughout the process from start to finish! We discussed outfits and the images that were important to them. We decided upon two perfect locations to bring their vision to life.

Location One – Oak Road Nature Preserve

I have grown to LOVE Wisconsin land trusts. They are hidden gems in this beautiful state! I have never held a session at this particular land trust, but this adorable family made it easy! Wonderful family, beautiful landscape, and my job is a piece of cake!

Location Two – Whitefish Dunes State Park

The second location was at Whitefish Dunes State Park at sunset. To say this spot was perfect is an understatement! The soft light, the rolling waves of Lake Michigan, a slight breeze, and this beautiful family made for a session I won’t soon forget! The kids did a great job with posing at the first spot, so this was an opportunity to get some great candids of the family just splashing around and having fun. I wish I could share their entire gallery! It was amazing.

I cannot wait until I am able to revisit these locations for another session. Door County has no shortage of natural beauty to capture! I cannot wait to see what all of these images look like in a beautiful heirloom album for the S. family to share, enjoy, and remember these moments for years to come.
